Hello Lyopar Backers!

Thank you so much for helping us make Lyopar come to life! The Lyopar backpack was 100% funded within 12 hours. And now, at 72 hours, it is 520% funded! This is fantastic!

Like other Kickstarter creators, our team is always seeking any possibilities to make our product perfect. We received your comments and listened, and now we need to improve the Lyopar design to meet your needs.

We want to offer more features to the Lyopar backpack, the first stretch goal is set for $200,000, and $300,000 for the second. First, we want to explain a bit of the process for setting them. Our designers work to see if these stretch goal features can be added to the backpack, then our supply chain staff makes contact with our manufacturing partner to confirm if the features are possible to make for mass production (some features are handy but not easy to accomplish). Finally, we calculate the added cost and margin of the new stretch goals, as we don’t want to lose money.

Please share our campaign with your friends(click to share), we'd like to invite more friends to come into the campaign community. Or you could follow our Facebook page @Niidaye Design any news will be posted on the Facebook page as well.

Let's go! Until next week!

QUICK UPDATE
about 4 years ago – Sat, Apr 04, 2020 at 01:53:34 PM

Hey folks,

We want to share more pre-production information with you. The Lyopar conversion straps are a key feature that makes our backpack special; and the metal buckle (pictured below) is the aspect that allows you to hold belongings on the exterior of the bag, (such as a yoga mat, basketball or skateboard), as well as convert the straps. We finally reached a point of perfection with this buckle, after five visits to the factory. We wanted to improve the molding so that the buckle is smooth to the touch, given the complicated design. We had to do a lot of trial and error with the factory to ensure we were getting good edge cutting with the mold.

We plan to send more updates as we get more bag details firmed up. Thanks for supporting our campaign!

Best,

NIIDAYE Team
